Photo shows an old board with about 5/16"crown.
This is an unusual case in which a good soundboard had to be removed. The pianos main cross-beam had come loose causing the soundboard to come loose around it's parameter. Despite having the bass corner broken off this board has crown like a new board. The drill bit under the straight edge is 5/16" diameter.
